About the course

Our PRINCE2 Agile Foundation enables you to benefit from PRINCE2 Agile’s guidance on delivering, managing and working within agile projects and project teams. To pass the Foundation exam, you will need to demonstrate sufficient recall and understanding of the PRINCE2 Agile® project management method.

Duration

This is an intensive three-day virtual course that prepares you for the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation examination. The training is conducted via a virtual training environment. You need to ensure that you can satisfy the technical requirements that can be found on our website here.

Materials

Digital ILX course materials: These will be accessible via the ILX portal. Full instructions with a link to the portal will be issued within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.The course materials will be provided in a PDF format and available for download. You will need to download and save the materials to your device, so that you can annotate them during the training course.

Digital official manual: You will be sent an email invitation approximately two working days prior to course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to access the digital version of your manual. Please note: There is a 5-year limitation in accessing your digital eBook.

Hardcopy official manual: If you decide to purchase the hardcopy official manual as an optional extra your manual will be shipped to your chosen address within 48 hours of purchase.

Hardcopy process map: If you decide to purchase the hardcopy process map as an optional extra it will be shipped to your chosen address within 48 hours of purchase.

Exam information

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation approximately two working days prior to course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered you will be able to book your online exam at a date and time of your choice. You are responsible for booking your own exam. Recertification: This certification has a renew within three years of the award date to remain current. There are multiple ways to recertify, more information regarding the options can be found here.

Exam format

The format of the Foundation exam is as follows:

60 minutes
Multiple-choice
50 questions, each worth one mark
28 marks or more, out of 50 questions, required to pass – 55% pass mark
Closed book

Pre-requisites

There are no formal pre-requisites for someone to take the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam.

Pre-course

There is mandatory online pre-course work that must be completed prior to attending this course, which should take approximately eight hours to complete. You will be sent full instructions with a link to the online pre-course within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.

In addition, you will also be required to complete some evening work during the virtual classroom event.
