I feel that as a course the content is great - my problem is that I feel it is too condensed I understand that it is a marketing idea to sell a product for 3-5 days as people can afford that from work, however I feel a better understanding would come from being honest about the content and extending the timelines taken to teach it.

The training did not help me pass the practitioner and there was no built in track for retakes it was at an additional cost.

The materials were very good and easy to follow, the pace of the course was excellent, the out of class work expected was just the right amount, and the mixture of group and individual work was appropriate for the type of course.

I felt the course structure, sequence was illogical given the volume of information to be absorbed. It may be my personal style of learning but it jumped about and that made it harder to link the information into a cohesive view.

Rather too much 'homework' to complete of an evening, would have preferred to stay longer at the course venue during the day as 3 hours work at home in an evening is near impossible and of little value when tired.

I was happy with ILX Group, however would ask that the 14-day notification period for cancellations is revised. Often we work to shifting deadlines and it's not possible to advise within a 14-day period. Losing money as a result is obviously not ideal and a credit for use at a later date would be appreciated.

I feel that the practitioner preperation was not enough time or material to confidently sit the practitioner exam. All of the context in the exam hadn't been covered in the day and a half preperation. I agree, the information was in the text book, but not all of the text book was covered in the day and a half preperation. There simply wasnt enough time allocated by ILX for the preparation. Myself and another work colleague have attended the course and we had the same feedback. I honestly felt that the practitioner exam had too many questions and the way the questions were worded required either more time to answer them, or less questions in the exam. I have also spoken other people who have attended Prince2 Practitioner courses and they were provided with role plays to assist with their learning. Our class did not receive this training, we were given old exams and spent our course time answering these questions to prepare for our practitioner exam. I was not happy with the practitioner course or the exam and am upset that I failed by 1 mark and have to re sit the exam. I feel like ILX will be making additional money from me when I know it wasn't all my fault I did not pass the exam. I have sat many exams in my life, I have 3 diplomas in Management and never failed any of those exams. I feel the questions asked were designed to make people fail the exam as the content was not covered in the course, you had to dig through your text book to find it. Then you had to work out if it was a "trick" question, all in a short period of time.
